JCS LIVE is a tuition-free, virtual independent study program serving students in grades TK–12 across San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Imperial counties. JCS LIVE offers a dynamic virtual learning experience for TK–12 students, combining the flexibility of learning from home with the structure and support of live instruction. Credentialed teachers lead engaging classes on Zoom, ensuring students stay connected and on track academically. Each day, students work independently on personalized lessons with the support and guidance of their parents, creating a collaborative learning environment that fits each family’s needs.

To enrich the virtual experience, JCS LIVE provides free, optional in-person field trips every month, giving students opportunities to explore, connect, and have fun beyond the screen. In addition to weekly core classes, students can participate in virtual clubs, elective courses, and online field trips, fostering creativity, leadership, and social interaction within a vibrant virtual community.
